Perfect location for walking to my tattoo artist, Hotu Tattoo and to Museum. Close to a market and restaurants. Very pleasant stay.

The room is clean and cozy with nice decor. The location was near a grocery and a top bakery. It was also an easy drive to many tourist sites. Our host was fantastic.

My wife and I needed a place to stay the night before flying out of Pape'ete, and Tamanu Lodge was perfect. It is about 15 minutes from the airport. Our friendly host arranged for a taxi ride just before five in the morning; we paid through her which was most convenient (about $35). If I had remembered I would have arranged for dinner that night (it and breakfast require advance notice), but as it was there were options within walking distance, although I would caution people to walk along the main roads rather than follow any online map suggestions to go along neighborhood roads that may or may not go through to where you want to go. Bonus review for KISS Tahitian Burgers where the fish sandwich and drinks were excellent. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
